Not all ash trees should or can be saved. Trees that are in poor health, are very small, are difficult to access or are not located in ideal areas should be removed or treated only in the short term while a new tree can be established. There isn't a one-size-fits-all solution which is why we offer free consultations with a Certified Arborist to inspect each tree and discuss all of the options that are available to you.

FREE TREE REPLACEMENT

Losing a tree is hard. Let us replace it for you for FREE, with a native, locally-sourced tree from our friends at Great Plains Nursery. Your ash removal just needs to meet the following criteria to qualify for free replacement:

Ash tree being removed is in the front or side yard
Total cost of ash tree removal and stump grinding combined is $800 or more

Omaha will lose thousands of ash trees to EAB, but we're seizing this opportunity to replace them with a more diverse selection of trees that are native to the midwest. Biodiversity is imperative for the sustainability of city trees and protecting them from another invasive insect or disease that can wipe out an entire species, like Dutch Elm Disease in the 1970's, and now the Emerald Ash Borer in the 2000's.
