Mark your calendars! We are proud to again be sponsoring the Earth Day Omaha Tree Climb event along with the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. Each year, over 100 Omahans, kids and adults alike, get to saddle up and climb Nebraska's State Champion Swamp White Oak tree at Elmwood Park.

Just print off the coloring sheet below and bring it to the event. Kids 14 and under can earn a free book: Dr. Seuss' "I Can Name 50 Trees Today!"

It's great that you are sponsoring Earth Day Omaha to support environmental initiatives, and it's even better that you are rewarding kids who attend for participating. This is a great way to teach them about the importance of trees and get them involved in growing appreciation for their environment at such a young age. As an expert in tree installation, I suggest incorporating tree diversity into their education so they can learn about each of the different trees and their functions in the environment. Good luck with the event!
